Phantom Blade Zero Gameplay and Story Details Coming Late Summer
During Sony's State of Play broadcast on June 3, developer S-Game announced that new gameplay footage and story details for Phantom Blade Zero will be released in late summer 2026, roughly late August to early September. The game is a dark martial arts action adventure built in Unreal Engine 5, blending kung fu film aesthetics with steampunk elements. Players control a swordsman with a fatal heart wound who has only 66 days to live, fighting through battlefields to stop a conspiracy. A short teaser trailer aired during the event, showing sword and hand-to-hand combat. The full trailer and pre-orders are expected to begin in summer 2026, with a deeper dive video and gameplay footage arriving later. Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for release on September 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
