The game draws from cyberpunk works like AKIRA and Ghost in the Shell, and classic arcade shooters. Players control a cybernetic officer who can arrest suspects using a Cybernetic Roar or protect civilians. Active Gaming Media handles the localization. A PC release on Steam is planned.

Project RX Gets First Public Showing at Anime Expo 2026, Tokyo Game Show Slot Confirmed

NEXON Games' IO Division, the team behind Blue Archive, showed its new game Project RX to the public for the first time at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles. A booth featured voice-recognition rock-paper-scissors interactions with characters. A vlog captured producer interviews where they said the team aims to avoid competing with Blue Archive and is not leading with combat content. Project RX is also scheduled for Tokyo Game Show 2026 in September.

Date A Live Tohka Spirit Outfit Figure Renewal Package Pre-Orders Begin

Pre-orders for the renewal package of the 1/7 scale Yatogami Tohka figure in her full spirit outfit, based on an illustration by Tsunako, are now open at Rakuten Books. The figure is part of the Fantasia 30th Anniversary Project and features Tohka wielding the great sword Sandalphon. The renewal package is priced at 24,200 yen, with a selling price of 21,527 yen at Rakuten Books. Distributor is KADOKAWA.

Tsugumi Project Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Ippatu's post-apocalyptic manga Tsugumi Project is being adapted into a television anime, as announced on July 14, 2026. A teaser website, promotional video, and visual were released alongside the announcement. The series, originally titled Toratsugumi in Japan, follows a soldier named Leon who is falsely imprisoned and sent on a suicide mission to recover a dangerous weapon called Tsugumi from a radiation-ravaged Japan overrun by mutated monsters. The manga debuted in France in 2019 through Ki-oon, where it became a hit, before being serialized in Japan in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine starting in January 2021. It concluded in September 2023 with a total of seven compiled volumes, the last of which was published in Japan in November 2023 and in English by Kodansha USA in September 2025. Creator ippatu expressed surprise and gratitude in a comment released with the announcement. To commemorate the adaptation, two volumes of the manga are available for free on YanMaga Web from July 14 to July 20.

D4 Enterprise has added the 1990 action RPG Rune Worth: Kuroi no Kikoushi (X68000 version) to its Project EGG retro game service as a free title. The game, originally developed by T&E SOFT, features no experience grinding, a real-time spell chanting system, and detailed character animations. It is available now for Project EGG subscribers.

"Hanataba" Added to Project Sekai as New Rhythm Game Song

The song "Hanataba" by MIMI has been added as a playable rhythm game track to Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku starting July 13, 2026. Players can obtain it via Music Card at the Music Shop. It is available in two versions: Sekai ver. featuring MEIKO, Kohane Azusawa, and An Shiraishi, and Virtual Singer ver. featuring Kafu.
