Psyren Anime Reveals First Animated Teaser, October Premiere

The television anime adaptation of Toshiaki Iwashiro's manga "Psyren" will premiere in October 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels, distributor REMOW announced on June 17. The second teaser promotional video, which is the first to feature actual anime footage, was released alongside the broadcast details. The video shows protagonist Ageha Yoshina accessing the secret society Psyren to search for his missing childhood friend Sakurako Amamiya, and includes glimpses of battle scenes set in the Psyren world. The anime is directed by Katsumi Ono at Satelight, with series composition by Shin Yoshida and character design by Akira Okuma. The cast includes Rikuya Yasuda as Ageha Yoshina, Mayuko Kazama as Sakurako Amamiya, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Hiryu Asaga, Soma Saito as Oboro Mochizuki, and Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kabuto Kirisaki. Iwashiro's original manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2008 to 2010, and the anime has been announced to adapt the story to its conclusion. The series was nominated three times in AnimeJapan's "Manga Ranking We Want to See Animated" voting project.
