Tomb Raider King Anime Adds Yūko Kaida, Reveals Ending Song in New Trailer
The Tomb Raider King anime, a Korean-animated adaptation of the webtoon by 3B2S, Yuns, SAN.G, and P-crush, revealed a second promotional video on Saturday. The trailer introduces Yūko Kaida as the voice of Keira Clark, an American army general who oversees relic operations. It also previews the ending theme song "To Be Continued" by Korean band QWER, who are also performing the opening theme "Show Down." The series is directed by Seung Wook Woo at STUDIO EEK, with Hyun-Jung Lee as character designer and chief animation director. The anime will premiere in Japan on Fuji TV on July 8 at 25:15 (effectively July 9 at 1:15 a.m.), and will also air on Kansai TV, Tokai TV, BS Fuji, and Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting Co., Ltd. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs. The story follows tomb raider Jooheon Suh, who is betrayed and killed, then wakes up 15 years in the past with knowledge of the future. The webtoon ran on Tapas Media from February 2021 to August 2023, spanning 412 chapters.
