San-X is running licensed collaborations and theme-park tie-ins across several of its character brands at once. The next dated item is the Nyan Nyan Nyanco x SPINNS collection, with pre-orders opening November 2, 2026.
San-X's recent activity is spread across its character catalog rather than concentrated on one brand. Rilakkuma extended its Maison de FLEUR collaboration to a seventh round on September 26, 2026, with 11 item types built around Korilakkuma and Chairoikoguma and a cup holder offered for the first time. A separate Nyan Nyan Nyanco line with SPINNS takes a Chinese restaurant theme called Nyanco Hanten and runs to 11 goods priced from 550 yen to 7,150 yen.
Fuji-Q Highland's San-X Paradise area is the other center of gravity. A new indoor walk-through attraction, San-X Paradise Secret Party!, opens there on November 14, 2026, with guests touring six areas and delivering invitations to characters including Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi. Tarepanda joins the same area as a greeting character, with a free outdoor unveiling on November 14 at 13:00 and 15:00 timed to the attraction's opening, then a paid indoor photo session at MEMORY STUDIO from December 12 at 3,300 yen for two minutes.
Sumikko Gurashi has a fifth anime film set for 2027, announced with a visual by creator Yuri Yokomizo and a hint that Neko will be the protagonist. The four earlier films opened in November 2019, November 2021, November 2023, and October 2025.
