Hololive's MiComet Teams With JOYSOUND for Collab Goods and Karaoke Rooms

On June 5, 2026, Chugai Mining announced a collaboration between the Hololive unit miComet-comprising Sakura Miko and Hoshimachi Suisei-and the karaoke chain JOYSOUND. The event runs from June 13 to July 30 at 60 JOYSOUND and affiliated stores nationwide, with goods available at 20 of those locations and online. The collaboration includes new original merchandise featuring the pair in two visual themes: a stadium jacket coordination and an after-school track suit coordination. Product highlights include life-size acrylic stands (2,200 yen each), trading can badges, trading acrylic stands, acrylic art boards, a magnet can caramel with a mini can badge, flake sticker sets, and a mini tambourine. For each collaboration menu item ordered in-store, customers receive one of eight random coaster designs. Purchases of 2,000 yen or more of collaboration goods in-store earn a random postcard bonus and one entry into a lottery for a newly recorded voice alarm clock, with 100 winners selected. The alarm clock campaign is in-store only; online purchases do not include entry postcards.

Hoshimachi Suisei Launches Own Agency Studio STELLAR

Virtual idol Hoshimachi Suisei announced the launch of her personal agency, Studio STELLAR, during an acoustic live stream on March 22, marking her 8th anniversary and birthday. The new agency will manage her solo artist activities, including music production, streaming, merchandise sales, and fan club operations, in collaboration with hololive production operator COVER Corporation and the newly established NERD Inc. NERD Inc., which also manages TAKU INOUE and the group Midnight Grand Orchestra, describes itself as an independent artist agency for extraordinary talents. Suisei will continue group and collaborative activities as a hololive production talent. She also revealed a new artist photo and a logo featuring a crown-like symbol. Alongside the agency launch, Suisei announced a 2026 arena tour titled "Once upon a Stellar" across four cities: Yokohama, Kobe, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. Midnight Grand Orchestra will resume activities and hold a second solo live concert, "Project:Allegro," in February 2027.

Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen Anime Adds Cast, Theme Songs, Sets July 4 Premiere

The television anime adaptation of Hiroshi Shiibashi's manga Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen has announced two new supporting cast members and its theme songs, along with a July 4 premiere date. Voice actors Gen Satou and Shinnosuke Tokudome join the cast as Ryuu Sazame and Mizuka Awatama, respectively. Japanese boy-band THE JET BOY BANGERZ performs the opening theme "BUDDING," and WOLF HOWL HARMONY performs the ending theme "Koko ni Iru." The anime will air on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. and on Sun TV every Saturday starting July 4. Toshifumi Kawase directs the series at Studio Deen, with Keiichirou Oochi handling series composition, Atsuko Nakajima designing characters, and Yoshiaki Dewa and Toru Ishitsuka composing the music. The previously announced main cast includes Taito Ban as Kodo Iwamoto, Yuki Sakakibara as Kai Haramachi, and Kento Ito as Soichiro Amaba, among others. Shiibashi began the manga as a one-shot in Shonen Jump+ in March 2020 before it began regular serialization in Ultra Jump in February 2021. Shueisha published the 13th volume on January 19, with the 14th volume scheduled for July 17.

Iwakoto-Senpai No Suisen Sets July 4 Premiere, Adds Cast and Music

The TV anime adaptation of the manga "Iwakoto-senpai no Suisen" will premiere on July 4, 2026. The opening theme is performed by THE JET BOY BANGERZ and the ending theme by WOLF HOWL HARMONY. Gen Sato and Shinnosuke Tokudome join the cast as Sazame Ryūu and Awadama Mizuhi, respectively.

Midnight Grand Orchestra Announces First EP Travelogue I

The music project Midnight Grand Orchestra, led by VTuber Suisei Hoshimachi and sound producer TAKU INOUE, will release its first EP Travelogue I on August 19. A new artist photo and a special website were unveiled May 27. Track details remain unrevealed as production continues. The EP marks a full-scale restart ahead of the February 2027 live concert Project: Allegro.
