Cygames announced it is now a premium partner of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which the company describes as the first time a Japanese company has taken that role. The race is a Grade 1 turf event over 2,400 meters, scheduled for Sunday, October 4 at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, with total prize money of 5 million euros, about 900 million yen. The surrounding weekend, Arc Weekend, includes multiple Grade 1 races across two days. At the venue, life-size figures of Orfevre and Gold Ship from Uma Musume Pretty Derby will be on display, and the Cygames logo will run on race programs and track boards handed out there. Cygames has been title sponsor of the French Grade 1 Grand Prix de Paris for the past two years. President Koichi Watanabe said he is proud to take part in what he called the pinnacle of the world's horse racing festivals.

At CEDEC 2026, Cygames localization staff Allison Cottrell and Ryuhei Morita presented a lecture on how the English version of "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" handled character dialects and speech patterns without English voice acting. The team avoided conventional methods such as mapping Kansai dialect to a Southern US accent because the game already had a character, Taiki Shuttle, who speaks with that accent. Instead, they analyzed the rhythm and speed of Japanese dialects and reproduced them through English spelling and line delivery. For Yukino Bijin, who speaks Tohoku dialect, the team used older English expressions and slang from the 1930s to 1960s to convey simplicity. Agnes Digital's otaku speech was localized using expressions from English-speaking otaku communities, while Daitaku Helios's gyaru slang was reimagined as Gen Z social media language. The team also established a system of character-specific speech pattern guidelines, Slack channels for idea sharing, and assigned translators with relevant cultural knowledge to maintain consistency across the project.

Cygames announced a new SSR support card for Tazuna Shibukawa in Uma Musume Pretty Derby, the first such card for the character in about five years. The card, titled SSR [Ippai no Nostalgia] Tazuna Shibukawa, will appear in a support card gacha starting June 29. It is a scenario link card for the new training scenario Irasshai! Tracen Ken! ~On-gaeshi, Hajimemashita~, and the sources describe it as an essential card for that scenario. The same gacha period introduces a new training Uma Musume, ★3 [Manpuku Ryuuyuuden・Chou] Narita Top Road, wearing a Chinese dress-style costume inspired by ramen. Another SSR support card, [Sono Shyuunen wa Dotou ga Gotoku] Meisho Doto, also debuts in the same gacha. Cygames also teased a future new costume for Fine Motion, not part of this gacha. Uma Musume Pretty Derby is available on smartphones and PC via DMM Games and Steam.
