Heaven Burns Red Media Mix Picks ASMR and Stage Over Anime
The RPG Heaven Burns Red, co-produced by Wright Flyer Studios and Key, chose ASMR and 2.5-dimensional stage adaptation as its media mix instead of anime or manga. At CEDEC 2026, WFS staff explained the reasoning: the story is told through the eyes of protagonist Tsukasa Kayamori, which limits what can be told about the game's more than 48 characters. The media mix was planned around the IP's narrative-first nature.
