Wild Dog released the Early Access version of Japanese Ramen Simulator on Steam on September 28, 2026 at 9:00 JST, priced at 1,900 yen with a 10 percent discount to 1,710 yen for two weeks. The online co-op ramen shop management sim supports up to 10 players, with a recommended maximum of 6. Steam wishlist additions surpassed 130,000 before launch. Players prepare soup, boil noodles, plate toppings, and serve customers, with noodle doneness, soup temperature, aroma, umami, and serving time affecting bowl quality. Side items include gyoza, rice bowls, and beer. Events include a critic visit and thieves targeting the register. A My Design system lets players use their own illustrations on posters and noren curtains. Spatial voice chat changes how voices are heard based on distance and walls. Solo play allows hiring NPC part-time workers. Wild Dog visited ramen shops and recorded cooking sounds for the game. Support for Japanese, English, Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean is included.

Wild Dog announced Japanese Ramen Simulator on August 21, a multiplayer ramen shop management game for PC via Steam. The early access version is scheduled for September, with a closed beta planned for August. The game supports up to 6 players in online co-op, covering the full range of ramen shop work: preparing ingredients, cooking, serving, customer service, and cleaning up. Players can also hire part-time staff to manage the shop solo. Gameplay involves combining ingredients for soup, boiling noodles to a specific firmness, monitoring soup temperature, and arranging toppings via physics simulation, so no two bowls come out identical. Side menus include gyoza, rice bowls, and beer, each with their own preparation details. During business hours, events can occur, including visits from a formidable ramen critic, thieves targeting the register, and sudden fires, which players resolve using shuriken and fire extinguishers. Shop funds can also be earned at a gambling den. The interior is freely customizable, and a My Design feature lets players draw on posters and noren curtains. The studio is based in Saitama Prefecture and founded in October 2024 by software engineer Hiroto Nakajo.
