BANDAI SPIRITS is expanding its PlanoSaurus Gachikoseibutsu Club series with a new kit based on the Steller's sea cow, a large marine mammal that survived into the 17th century and is believed to have gone extinct in 1768. The kit is set for release on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at a price of 1,925 yen including tax. The Steller's sea cow model follows the series' two-build system: a skeleton build that lets assemblers learn the internal structure, and a dinosaur build where integument parts are attached over the skeleton. The skin parts include fine wrinkles molded into the surface, reproducing the animal's physique, which stored fat for adaptation to cold regions. Articulation covers the mouth, head, neck, arms, abdomen, and tail flukes, allowing the model to be posed in a swimming stance on a clear base included with the kit. Assembly is snap-fit with no adhesive or tools required, and parts pop off runners with a touch-gate system. The kit is non-scale and includes a sticker sheet and the base.
Moonless Formless released the horror action RPG Withering Realms in early access on Steam for PC on September 5. Set in 1926, it follows ghost girl Clover and a doll companion through the town of Penwyll. The early access version includes a complete story, over 50 weapons, 70 talismans, 110 creatures, and 7 dungeons. The full version is planned for 2027.

The official website for Sunrise and Production I.G's Sōkō Kihei Votoms Haiiro no Hexe revealed the cast, character designs, and a 30-second trailer for the two new Armored Trooper Votoms films. Shinichirō Miki, Yūki Kaji, Yūichi Nakamura, and others join the cast. Miyuki Sawashiro plays the feared AT pilot Ash Vamps, known as the Grey Witch.
