Yami, the company behind the Haunting Exhibition and Fear Exhibition horror shows, has started a game label called YAMI GAMES. Its first release, the meta-horror game Tarou-kun Has Come, launched on August 28 at 1,500 yen. Producer Tsubasa Fujita and developers BeforeHomeWorks spoke to GAME Watch about building the label and the game, where players check a missing streamer's unplayable video against web pages to find out why it stops.

The final show of Hiroshi Kamiya's Share Live tour, held September 5 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A, brought the stage collaboration with Saori Hayami on "Synchro" that Kamiya said he had wanted to do. Hiroyuki Yoshino appeared live for "Mugen Paradox", and the encore drew IXIS members Motoharu Ono and Taichi Kusano plus Masaya Onosaka and Ryotaro Okiayu onto the stage. The tour supported the 11th mini album "Share Music".

Tokyo Otaku Mode is selling three HoloLive figures: a swimsuit version of Shirogane Noel based on her first anniversary illustration, plus POP UP PARADE SP figures of Hoshimachi Suisei and Tokoyami Towa. Prices are 19,800 yen for Noel and 6,800 yen each for the other two.

The official website for the new Fairy Princess Minky Momo OVA announced four more cast members on Friday: Show Hayami as the King of Diginarsa, Kikuko Inoue as the Queen, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Momo's father, and Mie Sonozaki as her worrywart mother. The OVA opens in Japanese theaters on November 13.

Twin Engine announced on August 19 that stage greetings for the revival screenings of Super Kaguya-hime! will take place on September 20 at three theaters. Yuko Natsuyoshi, Anna Nagase, Saori Hayami, and director Seigo Yamashita will reunite for five shows, their first gathering since February.

Bandai Namco Filmworks announced the 35th anniversary festival "Glory Winners" for the Future GPX Cyber Formula series, scheduled for January 9, 2027, at Misato City Cultural Hall in Saitama. The event will feature daytime and evening sessions with cast members Junichi Kanemaru, Kotono Mitsuishi, Sho Hayami, and Toshihiko Seki, plus session-specific guests. Theme song artists Hironobu Kageyama, Aki Misato, and Dynamite Shige will perform live. Tickets cost 9,800 yen for all reserved seats, with the fastest advance reservation period running from August 5 at 5:00 PM to August 23 at 11:59 PM. MegaHouse will release two new products: the Cyber Formula Collection -Heritage Edition- DX, reproducing the rollout set of the new machine Zenis Asurada AKF-S0/G, and the Super Asurada 01 Circuit Mode NEON Ver. in cyber colors. The new short anime, a direct sequel to the 1998 OVA SIN, is directed by Mutsumi Fukuda and features machine design by Shoji Kawamori. A life-size Zenis Asurada model will be displayed at MegaHobby EXPO2026 on September 26, 2026, with a riding experience featuring Asurada's voice actor Kenichi Ono.

The third season of the new Ranma 1/2 anime revealed additional cast members including Masako Nozawa, Jun Fukuyama, and Minami Tanaka, along with a debut date of October 3 on NTV. The season will stream exclusively on Netflix after broadcast. Kōnosuke Uda returns to direct at MAPPA with returning and new staff.

Re-Ment will release the second wave of its Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters desktop figure series on October 12. The lineup includes six types: Dark Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Dark Bakura, Dark Magician Girl, Yugi Muto & Marshmallon, and Obelisk the Tormentor. Each figure costs 1,650 yen.

The Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories television anime will begin its 17th season on July 12 on TV Tokyo. The season's theme is "decision." Akira Funada returns to direct and produce at ILCA, with a cast including Kanji Tsuda and Tomoko Ōishi. Fuurin performs the ending theme song.

The television anime adaptation of Haruomi Tomotsuka's Dara-san of Reiwa manga has revealed a second trailer, additional cast members, and a July 2 premiere date. The trailer previews the ending theme song "Hinatabocchi" by REIRIE. Newly announced cast include Aoi Koga, Tomokazu Sugita, Mai Aizawa, Saori Hayami, and Hōchū Ōtsuka.

The TV anime 'Reiwa no Darasan' released its second advance trailer and announced five new cast members, including Aoi Koga as Shu Hasegawa, Tomokazu Sugita as Naomichi Fudeki, and Saori Hayami as Ane Miko. The ending theme song is 'Hinatabokko' by the duo REIRIE. The series begins airing on July 2 on TOKYO MX and other stations.

The new Magic Knight Rayearth anime has added three cast members, the production announced on June 5. Saori Hayami will voice Princess Emeraude, Yuki Ono will play the priest Zagato, and Mika Kikuchi will voice the creature Mokona. The anime is set to premiere in October 2026 on TV Asahi's IMAnimation W block. A world premiere screening of episodes 1 and 2 will take place at Anime Expo 2026 on July 4, with appearances by voice actors Rie Takahashi and Saori Hayami. The series is directed by Yui Miura in his series directorial debut, with E&H Production handling animation. Shigeru Murakoshi is writing the series scripts, Satomi Watabe is designing the characters, and Yuki Kajiura, Takumi Ozawa, and Shiho Terada are composing the music. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is producing the project. Previously announced main cast members include Ayane Sakura as Hikaru Shido, Rumi Okubo as Umi Ryuzaki, and Rie Takahashi as Fuu Hoji.

The staff of Ishimori Production's Cyborg 009: Nemesis announced that Saori Hayami will voice Cyborg 003/Francois Alnul. The anime, directed by Hideki Ambo at Arect, follows a global organization turning people into cyborg soldiers. It streams this summer.

The television anime adaptation of Manabu Yashiro's manga Tank Chair has announced its main cast and released a character promotional video. The anime is set to premiere in fall 2026. Kōki Uchiyama voices Nagi Taira, the strongest assassin who fell into a coma protecting his sister. Minori Fujidera plays Shizuka Taira, Nagi's younger sister who seeks to awaken him by exposing him to murderous intent. Gakuto Kajiwara voices Naozumi Kurosaka, Nagi's former classmate with a rivalry against him, and Saori Hayami plays Touko Kurosaka, Naozumi's sister and partner. The anime is produced by Polygon Pictures, with Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando directing and writing the script. Yūki Moriyama is designing the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. The manga, which began in 2022, has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and has 10 compiled volumes as of March 2026. Kodansha USA publishes the English version. The character promo video includes voiced scenes of the four main characters, and a visual of the Tank Chair Mark-1 combat wheelchair was also released.

Writer Mujirushi Shimazaki and artist Rika Kamiyoshi have launched a new manga titled Yami Ochi Reijō wa Maō no Musume Alice ni Tenseishita no de Ōto de Anyaku suru Koto ni Shimashita. The series debuted on Square Enix's Gangan Online app on May 6 and centers on a noblewoman reincarnated as the Demon King's daughter seeking revenge.
