Why it matters
The Star Saber entry puts a Transformers character into a Takara Tomy line built around creator-led design arrangements, so the toy is pitched at collectors who buy the line's sculpt and paint work as much as the transformation.

The die-cast figure transforms from the large jet V-Star into Star Saber, and the core Saber stored in its chest transforms into robot and jet modes. A non-transforming Saber Cartridge lets buyers display both figures together.
