Takara Tomy is reissuing the Back to the Future collaboration Transformers figure Gigawatt in a 40th anniversary package. The figure transforms from the DeLorean time machine into a robot mode modeled after Doc Brown's face. Pre-orders open July 8, 2026, for a late December 2026 release at 6,600 yen.
Takara Tomy announced two new sets for the Transformers MPG toy line: MPG-24 Eject & Amhorn, releasing in late February 2027, and MPG-25 Blaster & Steeljaw, releasing in late March 2027. Both sets include fully transformable figures and accessories based on the classic anime series.
