THE GUNDAM BASE SHIBUYA Sets November 20 Opening at Shibuya PARCO

The store's design leans on Shibuya-specific fixtures and a rotating SHIBUYA COLLECTION Gunpla area of about 15 types, so the Tokyo footprint now has a location built around monthly product turnover rather than a fixed catalog.

THE GUNDAM BASE SHIBUYA Sets November 20 Opening at Shibuya PARCO

THE GUNDAM BASE SHIBUYA will open on the fifth floor of Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo on Friday, November 20, 2026. The store is the third Gundam Base location in Tokyo, after THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO and THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO ANNEX. It will carry Gunpla alongside apparel, stationery, general goods and sweets, with a large exterior LED screen, packaging-motif graphic walls by designer Yokoyama Toku, and three Gundam busts inside.

The fifth-floor space departs from the two existing Tokyo locations in its fixtures. An exterior LED screen will run 3D footage, including Gunpla diorama pieces between videos, and the center of the store holds busts of the RX-78-2 Gundam, Strike Freedom Gundam and Unicorn Gundam.

The graphic walls rebuild existing package art by Morishita Naochika for the HGUC 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam, HGCE 1/144 Strike Freedom Gundam and HGUC 1/144 Unicorn Gundam Destroy Mode, redrawn by Yokoyama Toku with Shibuya as the concept. The first 3,000 customers spending 5,000 yen or more per transaction receive an original sticker with his collaborative art.
