The slate leans on completed and ongoing Shueisha properties plus a Kojima nonfiction title, and the Kamisama Kiss box set is the kind of collected edition Viz can sell to readers who already own the singles.

Viz Media announced its summer 2027 slate on X on Friday: a 25-volume Kamisama Kiss complete box set with a double-sided poster and 32-page mini artbook, Yukinobu Tatsu's Dandadan Official Character Guide with 22 pages of new manga, Hideo Kojima's hardcover The Gifted Gene, first volumes of Ei Yamano's Someone Hertz and Kyo Tanimoto's Under Doctor, a Jujutsu Kaisen coloring book with 80 pages of Gege Akutami art, and Mariana's Diabo a Quatro comic.
The announcement came as a run of posts on Viz's X account, each pairing a title with a short pitch. The Kamisama Kiss set is the heaviest item by volume count, collecting all 25 volumes of Julietta Suzuki's manga with a double-sided poster and a 32-page mini artbook carrying the original Japanese cover art.
The Dandadan guide is the other tie-in with new content: character profiles, trivia, plot summaries and 22 pages of new manga from Yukinobu Tatsu. The rest of the slate runs from a Jujutsu Kaisen coloring book to Hideo Kojima's follow-up to The Creative Gene and two first volumes, Someone Hertz and Under Doctor.
