Why it matters
The show pairs a graphic designer's largest solo exhibition with a card-game tie-in and a JAXA-assisted space section, which puts a commercial brand collaboration and science cooperation inside the same ticketed venue.

It includes "Pokemon Card Game & YOSHIROTTEN Park" on the 49th-floor SKY GARDEN & POOL, a collaboration derived from his artwork for the card game's 30th anniversary project. Nana Eikura narrates the audio guide.
The rooftop section keeps two schedules. "Pokemon Card Game & YOSHIROTTEN Park" runs until 5:00 p.m., built so visitors can experience entering into a card object. From 5:30 p.m. the same space switches to "BEYOND EARTH GARDEN," where works based on satellite photographs of Earth appear as video for night-sky viewing.
YOSHIROTTEN made the card game artwork and key visuals for its 30th anniversary project, and the park derives from that work. Space art made with JAXA's cooperation also appears in the exhibition, which is his first solo show in Tokyo in eight years and his largest to date.
