EAT-MAN The Over Order Anime Gets Spinoff Manga by Akihito Yoshitomi
Yoshitomi writes and designs the spinoff himself for Monthly Shonen Sirius, the same magazine that carried his Eat-Man The Main Dish until 2019, so the anime arrives with a print arm attached rather than as a standalone revival.

Akihito Yoshitomi will draw a spinoff manga from the EAT-MAN The Over Order anime, the project's X account announced. Desert-Dessert From EAT-MAN The Over Order starts in the January 2027 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius, on sale November 26. Shunji Oga directs the anime at Studio Cab, with Yoshitomi on scripts and original designs and Satoshi Hirayama adapting the character designs. Masashi Ebara returns as Bolt Crank.
Masashi Ebara has played Bolt Crank since the 1997 and 1998 adaptations, and Crunchyroll began streaming both of those series in 2019. Bandai Entertainment released Eat-Man '98 on DVD with an English dub, and Discotek Media put out both anime on subtitle-only DVD.
Shunji Oga directs the new anime at Studio Cab. His credits include Romance of Three Kingdoms, several Soreike! Anpanman films, and chief director work on Golgo 13. Satoshi Hirayama adapts Yoshitomi's character designs for animation, after Cat's Eye season 2 and the Lupin III specials.
Yoshitomi drew the original Eat-Man from 1996 to 2002, and Viz Media published part of it in North America. Monthly Shonen Sirius, the magazine carrying the spinoff, ran his Eat-Man The Main Dish from May 2014 until the six-volume series ended in 2019.
