Kuro Games Launches Wuwa Tappo, a Free Wuthering Waves Desktop Mascot App
Kuro Games is putting Wuthering Waves on the desktop rather than in a new game, leaning on an existing mascot format to keep players interacting with the brand between sessions.

Kuro Games released Wuwa Tappo on October 26, 2026, a free desktop mascot app built on Wuthering Waves. Resonators sit on the desktop and tap in time with keyboard and mouse input. Boxes arrive as cumulative active time hits 30 minutes and cost 1,000 input counts to claim. The app is licensed by Irox Games, the developer of Bongo Cat, and supports multiplayer for up to 20 players.
The app ships with collection systems on top of the mascot layer. Boxes open into more than 200 character types, more than 100 accessories and more than 500 emotes, across four rarity tiers that drop at 90, 9.5, 0.49 and 0.01 percent. The first box opened guarantees a character and the second guarantees an accessory, and a character's exclusive emote enters the pool only after that character is obtained.
Two unclaimed boxes can sit in the slots at once, and the 30-minute timer pauses while both are filled. The redemption code WuwaTappo grants Yangyang - Classic once per player and has no expiry date. It is available on Windows, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android.
