Brocap Studio announced on August 18, 2026, that its sheepdog adventure game 'Hubert' will launch in October 2026 for PC and PS5. The game casts players as Hubert, a fluffy, self-assured sheepdog who navigates the unexplored northern wilderness using dog-specific actions like scent tracking, barking, and marking. Hubert is accompanied by Lily, a resourceful child who convinced the valley's grumpiest farmer to hire her. Together, they must guide dozens of distracted sheep to pasture while managing the farmer's short temper. The story expands beyond the farm into a quieter, stranger wilderness where Hubert hears a mysterious call he cannot fully explain. The game's monologue-driven narrative shows Hubert's inner conflict between his life as a working dog and the allure of the wild. A demo is currently available on Steam with Japanese language support. The game won Best Game by audience vote at the Game Access Conference 2026 in the Czech Republic, and had over 30,000 Steam wishlist registrations at that time.
