Will Retakes the Blooming Trial in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 10 Preview

The preview images and synopsis for Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 10 (Episode 22 overall) have been released. The episode, titled "Hoping, Blooming, Thundering," is scheduled to premiere on June 14. In the episode, Will and Julius attempt the Second Bloom. Under the watch of the tower high mages and the Magia Vander, Will confronts a Wors Ooze again. He recalls the origin of his sword and the magic he created with Elfaria when they were young, and calls forth Wis through his own power. The first season was animated by studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, with Tatsuya Yoshihara as director. Yoshihara returned for the sequel as Chief Director, with Hideaki Nakano as director. The anime is based on the manga by Fujino Omori (author of Danmachi) and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since December 2020, with 15 volumes published. It surpassed 3 million copies in February 2026. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams the anime worldwide.

Toho announced the fourth live-action Kaiji film, 'Kaiji: Life Revenge Game', starring Tatsuya Fujiwara, will release on January 29, 2027. The film comes seven years after 'Kaiji: Final Game' and features a teaser poster with the tagline 'Welcome back, you scum.' Kaiji faces a new antagonist, Kazuya Hyodo, a representative of the Teiai Group.
