Megumi Ogata is confirmed as the voice of Sensei, the founder of the Academy, in the Tank Chair anime, which premieres October 4 on Tokyo MX, BS11, CBC, and MBS. She is also set to appear at an advanced screening at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas on September 24.
Megumi Ogata's current slate is split between a new casting and a franchise event she was part of. Bandai Namco Filmworks confirmed her as the voice of Sensei in the Tank Chair anime and released the show's second main promotional video. Sensei is described as the founder of the Academy. Ogata will appear at an advanced screening at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas on September 24, ahead of the October 4 premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, CBC, and MBS. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the license.
Days earlier, the Jujutsu Kaisen anime closed its fifth anniversary with Jujutsu Fest 2026 at K Arena Yokohama on August 29 and 30. Ogata does not appear in the provided coverage of that event. The two Jujutsu Kaisen stories center on the main cast, music performances, a fan-voted awards corner, and a super teaser visual for Season 4, the Culling Game Part 2, built around Ryomen Sukuna. In closing remarks, Yuji Itadori voice actor Junya Enoki said he wants to deliver the animation's continuation soon, and Yuichi Nakamura told the crowd to wait for the next season to begin.
Across the three stories, Ogata's only confirmed role is Sensei in Tank Chair. The Jujutsu Kaisen items establish the state of that franchise and its event, not Ogata's involvement in it. The Tank Chair casting and screening date mark the final promotional stretch before the October 4 premiere.
