MEIKO and KAITO Desktop Mate DLC Launching July 9
Infinite Loop announced on July 2 that DLC for the virtual singers MEIKO and KAITO will launch simultaneously for the desktop mascot platform Desktop Mate on July 9. Each DLC costs 2,200 yen and will be available on Steam. The store pages are now open for wishlisting. The DLC includes newly produced 3D models supervised by Crypton Future Media, along with original motions and voices exclusive to Desktop Mate. MEIKO's motions include striking a dignified pose, making singing gestures, checking on the user and fixing her hair, relaxing with a drink, and waving when pinched. KAITO's motions include singing gestures, striking poses, eating ice cream, and leaving with a gentlemanly bow. With the addition of MEIKO and KAITO, all six Piapro Characters are now available in Desktop Mate. The base Desktop Mate software is free. Previous DLC has included Hatsune Miku, Sanrio Characters, and Kizuna AI.
