ABEMA will broadcast all 53 episodes of the anime Yawarakai Sensha for free in a marathon starting at 3:00 PM on August 11. MAPPA has partially revealed the exhibition contents for the Chainsaw Man - Reze Arc, Attack on Titan The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen areas at MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary, which opens on Wednesday, August 5. The event commemorates the 15th anniversary of the studio's founding and will display all 23 titles MAPPA has produced. In the Chainsaw Man - Reze Arc area, the story from Denji and Reze's meeting through the battle between Chainsaw Man and Bomb will be traced with production materials, including original drawings. A life-size figure of Bomb will be shown for the first time, illuminated in darkness. The Attack on Titan The Final Season area will feature original background art painted in watercolor in the "That Hill" corner, and a sculptural display recreating the Rumbling with video and three-dimensional art. The TV anime adaptation of the manga FX Senshi Kurumi-chan will begin broadcasting in October 2026, the production committee announced on August 1. The Steam store page for "Dear Passengers" is now open. The physics-based co-op game from FLEXUS puts players on the crew of the world's worst airline. Up to four players can join online, with one piloting and the rest managing the cabin. The plane is prone to disaster, and cargo and passengers are difficult. Release is planned for 2026 on PC. Only English is supported.
Aguri Kurita's manga Midari ni Tsukasete wa Narimasen ended with its final chapter in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age August issue, released July 9. The second compiled volume will ship in September. The series, which follows an unemployed man who encounters a ghost resembling a shrine worker, launched in November 2024. Kurita also writes My Wife is a Little Intimidating, which began in 2021 and has 14 volumes.
The New York Times' July Graphic Books and Manga bestseller list includes five manga volumes: Jujutsu Kaisen volume 30 at #3, Chainsaw Man volume 21 at #4, Jujutsu Kaisen volume 1 at #10, Gachiakuta volume 1 at #12, and The Summer Hikaru Died volume 1 at #15. The KPop Demon Hunters: The Movie comic adaptation also appears at #11.
Kadokawa announced a television anime adaptation of Enma Akiyama's Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi. manga, alongside a teaser visual and main staff. Shinsuke Yanagi directs at studio feel., with Keiichiro Ochi handling series scripts and Yumiko Yamamoto designing characters. The manga launched in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump in 2023; its 11th volume ships July 17.
