Zeta, the AI chat service run by South Korean company Scatter Lab, said on October 12 it is deleting plots that used NIJISANJI content without permission. ANYCOLOR, which operates NIJISANJI, reported the unauthorized use and asked for complete removal. Zeta says the deletions follow that request. The number of plots and a completion date have not been disclosed.
Bandai Candy will release Gundam Artifact Best Selection on October 12, 2026, at candy sections of mass retailers nationwide and other locations, priced at 550 yen including tax. The high-density mini plastic kit line, about 55mm tall and made up of about 70 parts, returns with five machines drawn from past waves: Zeta Gundam, Qubeley, the Ortega Custom High Mobility Type Zaku II, the Gaia Custom and Mash Custom High Mobility Type Zaku II, and ZZ Gundam.
REJECT announced "Oji League vs Streamer Army," a Street Fighter 6 showdown between Oji League participants and popular streamers, for Saturday, October 24. Koku-nii and SHAKA traded trash talk in a video released with the announcement, trading lines like "Bring it on, kid" and "Fine by me, old man." Silhouettes believed to be participants appear alongside epithets in the video's latter half, including "Teisei," "Goketsu," and SHAKA's "Legendary Battlefield King Sniper." ASCII.jp will show the ZENAIM ARCADE CONTROLLER LEVERLESS, a leverless arcade controller co-developed with ZETA DIVISION, at TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9 in Akihabara on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The controller supports a 0.75mm stroke, rapid trigger, and per-button user calibration. Admission is free at LIFORK Akihabara II.
GANYMEDE announced on October 1 that streamer Haseshin has joined the CREATOR division of pro esports team ZETA DIVISION. The company also released a joining announcement movie on YouTube. Haseshin has streamed games since 2011, and their YouTube channel has 950,000 subscribers as of the announcement. Known for rapid-fire Kansai-dialect talk and a bright personality, Haseshin plays a range of titles, mainly FPS games, and appears at events beyond streaming. In a comment, Haseshin said they will keep working energetically in the new environment to deliver energy to as many people as possible, and asked for support at ZETA DIVISION. Haseshin's published profile lists a birth date of October 31, 1995, favorite foods of hamburgers, onigiri, and lasagna, and a motto about not forgetting who they are, while the profile from a second announcement lists hamburger steak, onigiri, and lasagna.
GANYMEDE Inc. announced on September 28, 2026 that six creators will debut under UltraLMTM, the VTuber brand produced by streamer k4sen, who belongs to the CREATOR division of the esports team ZETA DIVISION. The six are Riina Koga Fluorite, Amari Mahiru, Yuime Yuina, Hanasake Sei, Washimi Daisho, and Yayoi Chiu. First streams run over two days at 19:00 each day: three members on Monday, October 5 and three on Tuesday, October 6, each on their own YouTube channel. From 20:30 each day, the three who streamed plus k4sen appear on a program on the UltraLMTM official channel. Profiles, visuals, a trailer, and X accounts for all six launched with the announcement. The brand's stated concept is "Beyond imagination, ideals squared."
ZETA DIVISION announced on September 20 that Sonic the Hedgehog is leaving its CREATOR division, ending a run that began with a surprise July 2026 signing billed as for one summer only. The team thanked him for his contributions, and Sonic posted parting words thanking k4sen and everyone, saying the events and game showdowns were seriously fun.
BS12 TwellV's Sunday Anime Theater airs Mobile Suit Z Gundam: A New Translation III - Love Is the Pulse of the Stars on September 20 at 19:00. The film is the theatrical version of Mobile Suit Z Gundam and the concluding chapter of the New Translation Z trilogy. Yoshiyuki Tomino is credited as original creator, screenwriter, storyboarder, and general director.

BS12 TwellV airs "Mobile Suit Z Gundam: A New Translation II Lovers" on its Sunday Anime Theater slot on September 13 from 7 PM. The 2005 theatrical film is the second entry in the New Translation "Z" trilogy. It follows Kamille Bidan's encounter on Earth with Four Murasame, an enhanced human of the Titans, before he returns to space and the Z Gundam.

KRAFTON and NIRVANANA Studio opened the second global community test for Project ZETA on September 4, 2026 at 20:00 Japan time, running until September 6 at 23:59. The game is a multi-team tactical arena in which four teams of three, 12 players total, battle on the same battlefield. Teams fight over the Prism, carry it to the stabilizer at the center of the map, and the first to earn 5 points wins. The test adds two heroes: Nova Crash, a fighter who uses fist-based close combat and whose ultimate Justice Impact slams down from the air to break enemy formations, and Azrakel, an assassin who teleports and whose ultimate Final Judgment: Erasure deals heavy damage and finishes off enemies below a health threshold. The roster now spans four classes and 16 heroes. Changes from the first test include a rating system for matchmaking, stronger growth mechanics to allow comebacks, and a higher weight on the hard-to-obtain S-Prism. The test is free on Steam with no pre-registration. A giveaway on the Japanese X account offers official merchandise to three winners.
