The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 Opens With Yorushika Credits-Free Video, Blu-ray in 2027
Season 3 widens the story past the rear palace into the city and a neighboring country, and the merchandising and broadcast rollout are already locked to that scale.

The credits-free opening video for The Apothecary Diaries season 3 is out, set to Yorushika's opening theme "Kumo wo Nuke Kaze Shita e Watashi Dake." The season starts October 2 on Nippon TV's Friday Anime Night block. The Blu-ray series runs to four volumes from February 17, 2027, with the fourth volume carrying the August 17 stage reading as a bonus disc.
The credits-free opening is not the only thing the production dated on October 2. An ending video without credits follows at midnight on October 3 on YouTube, and the Blu-ray run is set for four volumes beginning February 17, 2027.
Animation director Aya Nakata handled the opening sequence again after doing the same for season 2's "Hyakka Ryouran." Aoi Yuki, who plays Maomao, saw the video early at a September 27 advance screening and described it as full of expressions that made her think there was another way to read them.
