Shueisha Games will release UN:Me, a soul triage adventure for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, in 2027 at an undecided price. The game follows a girl carrying four souls, labeled I through IV, each claiming to be the body's true owner. Players explore her unstable inner world, gather clues, talk with each soul, then erase souls one by one and choose who remains. Historia, the studio behind the Caligula series, handles planning and development. Yumiri Hanamori voices all four souls, a role that led the team to record each soul on separate days rather than switch between them in one session. Producer Taiichi Kawai, planner and scenario writer Takuya Yamanaka, and director Shun Sasaki discussed the project at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The team also pushed the release from an earlier date to 2027 and added motion capture after Hanamori's performance.

Shueisha Games will release Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a price still to be determined. The publisher and developer poncle, the team behind Vampire Survivors, showed the game to press ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21. The build is planned for the Shueisha Games booth there. Matches take up to eight players, who control Jujutsu Kaisen characters, defeat waves of cursed spirits in a 15-minute time limit, and collect points. Cursed techniques fire automatically while movement stays manual. Points buy rule changes or interference against rivals, an idea drawn from the Culling Game arc. After 15 minutes the top two scorers enter a one-on-one final duel, where the special move gauge turns into a guard gauge. The full roster is planned to have more than 20 characters; the playtest offered nine, among them Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, Maki Zen'in, Yuta Okkotsu, Choso, Toge Inumaki, Kinji Hakari, and Kenjaku.

Shueisha Games said on September 17, 2026 that the soul triage adventure game UN:Me has slipped from 2026 to 2027, with the release date to be set later. The publisher is showing a demo at its Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth in Hall 5, 05-C10, which runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe, and it is the game's first playable exhibit in Japan. The protagonist is a girl who houses four souls that each claim to own her body. Yumiri Hanamori voices her, keeping one voice across the four personalities. The delay is tied to motion capture work meant to let players read each soul through movement and facial expression during dialogue, with studio footage released alongside the announcement. Shueisha Games also detailed Soul II and Soul IV. A campaign to mark the voice cast runs through September 30, with five signed boards from Hanamori drawn by lottery.

The Japan Magazine Publishers Association reported on Wednesday that Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump averaged 985,000 certified print copies per quarter from April to June 2026, the first time the magazine has dropped below one million since the association began publishing audited figures in 2008. The decline means no print magazine in Japan now has a certified circulation above one million copies. Weekly Shonen Jump's print circulation has fallen steadily for at least 12 years, from 1,290,417 copies in April-June 2022, below two million in 2017, and below 1.5 million in late 2020. The magazine's record circulation was 6.53 million copies with the combined New Year 1995 issue, released in December 1994, when it serialized Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk. In the same quarter, Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine averaged 281,000 copies, Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday averaged 120,000, and Monthly CoroCoro Comic averaged approximately 213,000. The figures come as Japan's manga magazine market shrank by 12.7% in 2025, and the print market as a whole fell below one trillion yen for the first time since 1976.
