Sixty-three female talents appear in party dresses designed for the event.
SNAPLACE released the conversation adventure game Kyoto Rules: Can You Live in Kyoto? for Android on October 12, 2026. At Brasil Game Show 2026 in São Paulo, 2 Wedges developers Pedro Oliveira and Pablo Ortolan presented Caravana 2000, a first-person Vampire Survivors-style action game built on Brazilian pop culture. Players control truck dancers, including a Sonic parody named Satanic, using a work permit as starting equipment and combining up to four weapons and items. The developers said the game mixes Brazilian references with internet jokes that travel.
A special program hosted by Roboco, Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, and Houshou Marine showed new details for HoloLive Mahjong -HoloJan-, the free-to-play mahjong app releasing in 2026. COVER Corporation announced Shattered Legends, a Daggerheart actual play campaign made with Critical Role. The series premieres mid-November 2026, sponsored by Ultra PRO, and continues the world of Exandria. Matthew Mercer is the Game Master. Four hololive members join as players: Nerissa Ravencroft, Mori Calliope, Shiori Novella, and Gigi Murin, alongside Critical Role co-founder Marisha Ray. The campaign runs as a mini web series on Critical Role's YouTube channel, Nerissa Ravencroft's YouTube channel, the hololive English YouTube channel, and Beacon. Episode 0 covers character creation and backstories, and after-episode cooldown talks go to Beacon and Nerissa Ravencroft's YouTube membership. Every YouTube episode carries Japanese subtitles. Character names appear in English and Japanese announcements: Ravencroft plays Siliun Faell, Calliope plays Kaz Oogod, Novella plays Marchen Rosemyne, and Murin plays Giryn. A promotional convention tour across North America, Europe, and Asia is planned, with merchandise details to come.
Animate will sell the Blu-ray of Himitsu no Aipri the Movie: Mankai Buzzrium Live! starting December 2, 2026, priced at 8,800 yen. The disc carries the main feature and trailers under the avex pictures label. Director Chika Nagai is developing it alone. A pre-alpha demo was exhibited for the first time at OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026, where the trial play ended after the player was assigned Room 666.
Cover Corporation announced that hololive member Hakui Koyori will hold her solo live, Hakui Koyori 1st Live "Dream Spark", on December 22, 2026 at Tokyo Garden Theater. Doors open at 17:30, streaming begins at 18:00, and the performance starts at 18:30. The first venue ticket lottery opened October 11, and streaming tickets went on sale the same day through SPWN and ZAIKO.
Kashitaro Ito's solo concert "Live Classics 2026 〜re:verse〜" is set for Saturday, December 5, 2026 at Ebisu The Garden Hall, with doors at 16:00 and a 17:00 start. Official advance applications opened October 8 at 18:00 on e+. All seats are reserved at 9,800 yen, plus a separate drink fee, and preschool children are not admitted.
Animersive Live "Belle and the Dragon - PROJECT LAYRA -" opened on October 10, 2026 at MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives Box1000. The performance is a side story set five years after the film, with five performers cast as the diva Layla. A press preview was held on the 9th, and Mamoru Hosoda joined the cast and creative director Yuki Hiroya afterward.
Bandai Candy Division will release hololive Deforme Collection Vol.4 on October 12, 2026 at 825 yen per set, tax included. The fourth wave of pre-painted deformed figures carries eight types: AZKi of Generation 0, Ookami Mio of Generation 2, Himemori Luna of Generation 4, and Takane Lui of Secret Society holoX, plus the mascots Kaitakusha, Subatomo in large and small sizes, Luna Knight, and Ganmo, Tsukune, and Tsumire. Each set includes one piece of soda flavor gum.
Saber Interactive released Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival on October 8, 2026, a single-player first-person survival horror game set in the official canon of the Hellraiser film series. Players control Aidan, a young man who enters the otherworldly hell called the Labyrinth to rescue his lover, using firearms, melee weapons, and the power of a mysterious puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration while evading Pinhead and a cult that worships the Cenobites. The standard edition costs 5,900 yen, and a Deluxe Edition with weapon skins and a digital art book costs 7,800 yen, both including tax. The game is available on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. On Steam it has drawn over 1,000 reviews and an Overwhelmingly Positive rating. It does not support Japanese, though a fan-made localization mod has appeared.
Cover announced a collaboration title with Aiming, Hololive Mahjong -Holo-Jan-, planned for release in 2026. Pre-registration opened on October 9. The mahjong game covers iOS, Android, Windows, and browser, and is free to play with item purchases. Thirty-seven Hololive talents appear, with dedicated voice recordings and an assist feature for beginners.
Cover Corp. opened the touring exhibition "hololive Grand Reception ~An Invitation Filled with Gratitude~" at TOKYO DREAM PARK in Ariake, Tokyo on October 10, the first stop of a four-city run that continues to Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. A media preview was held on October 9. Tokyo tickets are 2,500 yen in advance and 3,000 yen on the day, with a 2,000 yen memorial art exchange ticket that includes a book mat. Admission on weekends, holidays, and some weekdays runs by designated date and time and numbered ticket order. The Tokyo venue is on the 7th floor of EX STUDIO7, and the paid hololive Sign Simulation attraction sits in the 3rd-floor lobby at 2,000 yen per session. The exhibition marks the agency's 9th anniversary and runs at the Tokyo venue through November 23.
A teaser video for the television anime of Kennoji and R_ringo's My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With! lists seven voice actors and sets a January 2027 premiere. BANDAI SPIRITS' Banpresto brand has shown the painted prototypes for two crane game figures of Hololive VTubers Fuwawa Abyssgard and Mococo Abyssgard. The pair, sold as hololive IF Relax time Fuwawa Abyssgard and hololive IF Relax time Mococo Abyssgard, are set to appear in crane games nationwide in March 2027. The costumes were designed with the talents' own wishes built in, under the hololive IF line that imagines situations for Hololive members.

The live-action drama adaptation of Io Sakisaka's manga Strobe Edge is streaming both seasons on Amazon Prime Video, the only service in a survey of major platforms carrying it. Prime members can watch all six episodes of each season at no extra charge. Riko Fukumoto plays Ninako Kinoshita, Kyoya Takahashi plays Ren Ichinose, and Koki Yamashita plays Takumi Ando.
Martin Klima, co-founder of Warhorse Studios, told PC Gamer he is tired of RPGs where the player is a chosen one carrying a mission to save the world, calling the formula too one-note and saying the genre is still games for teenagers. He said that feeling led to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, whose sequel released in 2025.
Sanrio Games announced that its dance and rhythm game Sanrio Kawaii Me Live will launch worldwide in January 2027 on the App Store and Google Play. Pre-registration opened September 21. Red Bull Japan is running a collaboration campaign with the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME at Lawson stores nationwide from October 6 to October 19, 2026. Customers who buy two eligible Red Bull products receive one original PR card. The four card designs feature VTubers Shishiro Botan and Laplus Darkness, two designs each, including visuals of them holding Red Bull cans.
Dwango will livestream the full performance of Kuzuha One-Man Live "Bloody Alexandrite" on Nico Nico Live Broadcasting from K Arena Yokohama on October 12, 2026. Doors open at 16:30 and the show starts at 18:00. The performer is Kuzuha, a Nijisanji liver. Guests are Kenmochi Toya, Fuwa Minato, Ibrahim, and Lauren Iroas, the four members of the unit Seme4. A newly shot promotional video for the live will run on Cross Shinjuku Vision in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from October 6 to October 12, 2026, between 7:00 and 25:00. Martin Klima, co-founder of Kingdom Come: Deliverance studio Warhorse Studios, told PC Gamer he wants Grand Theft Auto VI to lead the way toward higher game prices. Klima said the technology and scale demanded of games keep expanding and development costs keep rising, while market growth has already hit its limit. The spread of digital sales has also cut the room to reduce distribution costs, leaving a higher sale price per game as the only remaining means to sustain the business. He said companies fear raising prices alone because it invites backlash, and that only major players like Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two can take the plunge. Klima said he is not a fan of the GTA series and does not plan to play the game, but he regards Rockstar's work as a technical marvel. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
A gameplay teaser video has been released for KCD:MP, a community-made mod that makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance II playable in multiplayer. The four-minute video shows character creation, horseback travel with other players, and combat. The mod is in open beta, and owners of the Steam version of the game can download it for free from the mod's official website and join servers.
Tokyo Otaku Mode now carries Nendoroid figures of several hololive VTubers. Hakui Koyori is 7,200 yen, Houshou Marine's OL Outfit Ver. is 7,500 yen, and Tokoyami Towa, Himemori Luna, and Takanashi Kiara are 7,900 yen each. Roboco-san is 7,200 yen. Each figure stands about 10 cm in the 2.5-head-tall Nendoroid style and ships with expression, hand, foot, and optional parts.
BANDAI SPIRITS will release "Ichiban Kuji hololive ~Fairy tale Style~" starting January 9, 2027, at 890 yen per draw at locations including Lawson. AZKi, Pekora Usada, Laplus Darknesss, and Kazama Iroha appear in fairy tale theme original outfits, and the key visual has been revealed. Past hololive Ichiban Kuji used key visuals for figures and acrylic boards, and a similar lineup is expected here.
Bandai Namco's Switch 2 version of Once Upon a Katamari arrives October 8, 2026, alongside the paid DLC Rolling Live Highlights. A hands-on session covered the mouse controls, where players slide Joy-Con 2 repeatedly to roll, and a penlight stage where the King streams to viewer comments. Producer Ryo Ishida said the controls took shape after the Switch 2 was announced, as a way to let players roll alongside the Prince.
Sanrio's game brand showed two titles at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Sanrio Party Land is a party game with more than 145 Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Umenoya Zakkaten, and Ghao-pa-wa-ru, with minigames themed around each character. It is set for October 29, 2026 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Sanrio Kawaii Me Live is a smartphone rhythm game set for 2027.
At TGS2026, developer Yoyoyollie and publisher Top Hat Studios presented DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE, a cel-shaded dogfight roguelike whose official tagline calls it a fusion of Devil May Cry and Ace Combat. Players pick an aircraft and two special weapons, boost instead of throttling up gradually, and build combo ranks by downing enemies in succession. Ammo is infinite, cooldowns are not, and level-ups offer three parts to choose one from.
Taiki Yamazaki's solo music project Nemuru made tsukiatte has announced nemtsuki LIVE 2026-2027 'Aizuchi,' running at four venues across three cities. The run opens December 22, 2026 at Shibuya CHELSEA HOTEL and ends January 17, 2027 at Shibuya Star lounge, with stops in Nagoya and Saitama. Fan club advance lottery applications run October 3 to October 12, 2026.
Blackbox Inc. announced that Fushigino Amune will take over the role of Shizuki Neon in LiveRevolt Re:venge, replacing Hoshino Marina, who played the character until now and performs as Tsukiyomi Maria under Yako-sei Amuse. Amune said she will carry on the feelings of her predecessor. The company said it will keep the character, songs, and worldview built so far while developing the project with the new cast.

Doors open at 17:30, the stream starts at 18:00, and the performance begins at 18:30. The first advance lottery for venue tickets opened the same day and runs through October 13 at 23:59, with results and payment from October 16 to October 19. A second advance lottery runs October 22 to November 3, and general sale opens November 14 at 13:00. Venue seats range from 9,800 yen for balcony standing to 14,000 yen for arena standing with early entry, and all venue tickets include an emblem keychain bonus. Streaming tickets cost 6,800 yen on SPWN and ZAIKO, with a 13,600 yen pair ticket on SPWN, sold until January 16, 2027 at 20:00. Archive viewing ends January 16, 2027 at 23:59. The LoveLive! Orchestra Concert will be held on January 10 and 11, 2027 at Chiba Prefectural Culture Hall, with Grand Philharmonic Tokyo performing. Guest vocals from μ's are scheduled to feature Emi Nitta, Aya Uchida, Pile, Riho Iida, and Aina Kusuda. The earliest advance ticket lottery opens at 10:00 on September 26. The Paradox Live franchise announced a new team, ILLGATOR, for its "4th Season" story arc. The team is voiced by Yū Serizawa as Meno Azumi, Hiiro Ishibashi as Noah, and Hayato Dojima as Akito Yofune. A music video for their song "Daru." (Lazy) is streaming, and the team will perform at Animate Girls Festival 2026 on November 7.
Koei Tecmo Games released the free Happy Halloween update for Dead or Alive 6 Last Round on October 1, 2026. The update adds pumpkin headwear in four colors that all 32 characters can wear, selectable from the glasses category. It also includes bug fixes covering replay data version changes and battle-related issues. Replay data saved on the previous version can no longer be played back after the update. The same announcement laid out the October 2026 DLC roadmap. Minato gets a new costume set in the second week of October and a debut costume set in the third week. Nyotengu gets a new costume set in the fourth week, and Kasumi in the fifth. Koei Tecmo says the DLC contents and release periods may change. The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows via Steam, with a free-to-play version on each platform.
McDonald's Japan launched the "Golden Campaign" with Ayumi Hamasaki on October 2, a collaboration running through December 31 that centers on a one-night-only live taping called "Golden Live," limited to 200 attendees. Entry is offered through the McDonald's official app rewards program, My McDonald's Rewards. The taping is scheduled for November 21 at 19:30 somewhere in Tokyo. A live set image was published with the announcement. The October 2 start date coincides with Hamasaki's birthday. Separately, four collaboration goods are being released in sequence: a shirt, a long towel, a plate set of two, and a mug, each won by lottery through reward points. OddNo. Inc. announced on September 28 that distribution of the offline version of Link! Like! Love Live! for iOS and Android ends on October 30 at 12:00. The online service had already ended on June 30 at 12:00 after the company's financial situation worsened and it could not maintain the production structure for its main content. An offline version followed, holding players' obtained cards and stickers plus profile card and home screen editing tools. The company's commencement of bankruptcy proceedings was decided in August. New installs and re-downloads from the App Store and Google Play Store stop on October 30, and logins and in-app data downloads stop with them. Anyone who completes login and data downloads before then can keep using the app. Acceptance of new inquiries about link password reissuance ends October 20 at 12:00, and paid SIsCa refund applications close September 30 at 12:00, with refund guidance promised by October 30.
Tokyo Disneyland previewed a new entertainment program, The D-Groovationz4 Live: Happy! Funky! Groovy! Tour, on September 29, 2026, ahead of its opening on September 30. The show is centered on the live vocals of the four-member dance and vocal group The D-Groovationz4 and runs about 25 minutes, performed four to five times a day. It replaces Club Mouse Beat, which ended on March 31, and is staged at the Showbase in Tomorrowland. Alongside Mickey and Minnie, Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph and Baymax from Big Hero 6 appear, marking their first stage show appearances at Tokyo Disney Resort. The set includes Disney songs with inventive arrangements plus original songs, and worlds evoking Wreck-It Ralph and Moana 2. The show also features a microphone-stand routine set to It's a Small World, and in the finale the performers change costumes and bring the audience into the closing number.
Walt Disney Japan will release a 4K UHD and Blu-ray set of Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. The set is a two-disc package, one 4K UHD disc and one Blu-ray made from the same new master, priced at 11,880 yen including tax. The film was remastered in 4K and played in IMAX theaters in North America in March 2026 and in Japan from June. The release is the third Studio Ghibli feature to get a 4K UHD edition, after The Boy and the Heron and Princess Mononoke. The set comes in a three-sided slipcase with digipak packaging. Enclosed bonuses include three original art cards, and the Blu-ray carries a trailer collection of about three minutes covering the 4K digital remaster IMAX release and the expanded release. The feature runs about 102 minutes and dates to 1989. Subtitles include Japanese, English, and barrier-free Japanese.
Cozy Lives released the dressmaking simulation Dressmaker on Steam on September 21, 2026, for PC and Mac at 1,923 yen, with a 10 percent launch discount to 1,730 yen until September 29. Free Lives published the game. Players act as a town tailor, choosing fabrics such as cotton, linen, wool, silk, and velvet, then working through pattern layout, cutting, machine sewing, and decoration with buttons, ribbons, and appliques. Completed dresses go to customers for reputation and coins, or into a shop window as ready-made stock. Free Lives said on Steam News on September 22 that the game recouped its development costs within 24 hours of release, and Game Spark reported that 96 percent of 1,098 Steam user reviews were positive as of 14:45 on September 23, giving it Overwhelmingly Positive status.
Dwango will stream the first real live performance by MECHATU-A, an eight-member male unit from the VTuber group Nijisanji, on Niconico Live Broadcasting on October 10, 2026. The event, titled "MECHATU-A 1st LIVE "Over Drive!"", takes place at K Arena Yokohama with a 16:30 open and 18:00 start. Main stream viewing tickets cost 6,500 yen before fees, and a version with an acrylic diorama bonus costs 10,500 yen. The unit will perform songs from its first mini album "On-Deck!", released in July 2026. Fans who cannot attend the venue can watch the opening portion free. VTuber Asano Ruri will appear at an event titled "Asano Ruri Talk & Live!! @ Mita Festival" on November 21 at Keio University's Mita Campus. The organizer is the VTuber Research Society (V-ken), a registered student organization at Keio University. The event, tied to the university's Mita Festival, includes a talk show and a mini live, along with attendee participation-style projects. Admission is free. To participate, attendees need a ticket distributed by lottery through LivePocket. The announcement was made on October 1. PANORA describes Asano Ruri as a ninja-style VTuber voice actress. The event's full title connects it directly to the Mita Festival, which KAI-YOU identifies as the 68th edition of Keio University's school festival. Cover Corporation announced a collaboration with Pinfinity on augmented reality collectible pins for the hololive -Justice- unit, which debuted in 2024. Individual pins cover Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, Gigi Murin, Cecilia Immergreen, and Raora Panthera. A limited edition set bundles all four with a serialized logo pin, capped at 2,024 sets worldwide. Each pin unlocks animation and sound through the free Pinfinity app. The collection is on sale now.
