Silver City Announces Dichotomy Test Closed Beta for PC
Elementa has announced a new closed beta test for its open-world detective action RPG Silver City. The test, called the Dichotomy Test, is a limited-participation, data-deleting beta for PC (Windows). Applications open via a lottery-based questionnaire on the official website until July 17 at 0:59 JST. The beta introduces the long-awaited male protagonist, along with multiple new characters, a new story, and new explorable areas. Combat has been adjusted for smoother and more impactful battles. A new PV titled Black Knights Tango shows the male protagonist using brutal finishers including bone-breaking and groin kicks. Other characters shown include the neutral faction Red Rose, the enigmatic Belinda, the combat-capable Fuu, and a knight with a surprising demeanor. Silver City is set in the Victorian-style metropolis of Sylvania, where players investigate crimes amid conflicts between corporations, underground organizations, royalty, and cults. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 with anime-style visuals and real-time character-switching combat. It is planned for release on consoles, PC, and smartphones, with pricing and date undecided.
