Hololive English VTuber IRyS released her first full album "DANGERyS" on July 12, 2026, via Cover. The 10-track album features a lead single "Escalate" and showcases IRyS's signature eurobeat style, with contributions from various track makers in Japan and abroad. A CD edition includes an exclusive rearranged version of "Gravity" as a bonus track. The album is available digitally and in CD and LP formats, with the LP edition including an autographed poster card. Separately, Cover announced IRyS's first solo concert, titled "IRyS 1st Concert 'HOPE ||: Beyond the Stars'," scheduled for October 6 at SGC Hall Ariake in Tokyo. In-person reserved seat tickets range from 8,200 yen for A seats to 12,000 yen for SS seats, with a first-round advance lottery open through July 20. Streaming tickets are priced at 6,800 yen via SPWN and ZAIKO. Concert merchandise sales are also underway until August 17.

Cover Corporation announced on July 10, 2026, that the after-screening of the hololive Production all-members live event "hololive 7th fes. Ridin' on Dreams," originally held in March 2026, will be shown at theaters across Japan over four days. The screenings are scheduled for August 29 and 30, and September 5 and 6, 2026, with each day dedicated to one of the event's four stages. Tickets are priced at 4,500 yen for a regular ticket and 5,200 yen for a ticket including a set of silver tape and confetti stickers. A lottery system via Lawson Ticket runs in two rounds, starting July 10, followed by general and theater sales. Each screening will include an exclusive comment video from two talents: for Stage 1, Tsunomaki Watame and FUWAMOCO; Stage 2, Shishiro Botan and Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame; Stage 3, Kikirara Vivi and Pavolia Reine; Stage 4, Todoroki Hajime and Kaela Kovalskia. Attendees may use penlights and cheer vocally, but recording and photography are prohibited. All visitors receive a clear postcard featuring the event's key visual. Original goods will also be sold at the theaters.

COVER Corporation announced a limited-time collaboration between hololive production and the Taiwanese mahjong game Celebrity Mahjong, starting July 15, 2026. The crossover features talents Houshou Marine, Hakui Koyori, and Juufuutei Raden, with in-game events, exclusive outfit sets, a cheering event, card albums, and a merchandise booth at Comic Exhibition in Taipei from July 23 to 26.

Midjourney is demanding Disney, Universal, and Warner Bros. Discovery reveal details of their own AI development and use, arguing that if the studios are training models internally, it would support Midjourney's fair-use defense. The company has appealed a magistrate judge's ruling that limited discovery to consumer-facing images and videos. A hearing is set for August 17, 2026.

CCMC, a subsidiary of Cover Corp, announced the opening of the Steam store page for HoloTrials: Case Covered, a free mystery adventure game developed by VTAC Games under the holo Indie fan game brand. The game is set in a parallel world where hololive English talents from Myth and Council/Promise are reimagined as high school students. Players take the role of student detective Watson Amelia, investigating a campus incident that leads to a courtroom battle to clear Gawr Gura, the prime suspect. The game combines visual novel text with side-scrolling exploration and point-and-click evidence collection. Courtroom segments require players to find contradictions in testimonies and present correct evidence. The art style uses lineless 2D sprites with full animation. HoloTrials: Case Covered will release for free on Steam on September 10, 2026 at 12:00 JST. The store page went live on June 30, 2026. The game supports English language only.

Cover Corp. announced on June 25, 2026 that it has developed an in-house plugin integrating 3D effects into the streaming software OBS. The plugin uses Spout technology to offload rendering from the company's Studio App to OBS, enabling effects like relighting, ambient occlusion, and decals. It is currently used only internally, with plans to distribute it to talents later.

Publisher Waku Waku Games released Final Recovery Squad on June 18, developed by Sunfish Kuma. The single-player FPS has a 97% positive rating from 167 Steam reviews. Players control a robot girl recovering weapons in a post-apocalyptic world. The game is available on PC, Switch, and Switch 2.

COVER Corporation and NoonX will host a "hololive Spring Travel Diary" pop-up store at Big City Mall Hsinchu in Taiwan from July 1 to August 9, 2026. The event features six talents, exclusive merchandise, a lucky draw machine, a card gacha machine, a photo booth, and a Tokyo Sakura Photo Wall.

CHET Group announced the compilation album 'discover -Re-ride Collection-' featuring 17 VTubers, VSingers, voice actors, and creators, based on the first V Collection song 'discover.' Pre-orders start June 19, 2026, with the album releasing August 25, 2026. The project uses a baton-style production method called 'Re-ride' where artists freely contribute parts.

Cover Corp announced on March 22, 2026, that VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei has established a personal agency named Studio STELLAR to strengthen her artist activities. Suisei, who debuted in 2018 and joined hololive production in 2019, will shift the core of her work to solo efforts under the new agency. The move aims to support her stated goal of performing at Tokyo Dome and achieving further success in the mainstream music scene. Cover Corp stated the change is necessary to sharpen her music activities and continue reaching higher levels. While solo activities such as music, streaming, merchandise sales, and fan club operations will move to Studio STELLAR, Suisei will continue collaborations and group activities as a hololive production VTuber. Talent management for the new agency will be handled by NERD Inc., which will cooperate with Cover Corp to support her solo career. Cover Corp described the move as a step toward expanding VTubers' reach and realizing its mission of creating a culture loved worldwide.

Cover Corp and QualiArts announced that pre-registrations for the first official hololive smartphone game, hololive Dreams, have passed 1 million. Milestone rewards include dot sunglasses for all 54 talents. A second area, Megasphere, themed around games and casinos, will launch alongside the previously announced Harmony Garden. Additional pre-registration rewards and a JR Tokai collaboration were also revealed.
