Kindergarten Wars Anime Casts Tetsu Inada as Gordon

The staff for the television anime adaptation of Yu Chiba's Kindergarten Wars manga announced on Thursday that Tetsu Inada will voice the character Gordon, the vice-principal and school nurse at the school. Sgt. Frog 20th Anniversary Film Adds 7 Guest Voice Cast Members

The official website for the new Sgt. Frog 20th anniversary anime film, Shin Gekijōban ☆ Keroro Gunsō Fukkatsu Shite Sokkō Chikyū Metsubō no Kiki de Arimasu!, announced seven additional guest voice cast members on Tuesday. The film opens in Japan on June 26. The new guest cast includes Tomokazu Seki as Warrior #7, Natsuki Hanae as an alien, Kōichi Yamadera as the Space Police Chief, JO1 member Keigo Satō and FANTASTICS member Yūsei Yagi as men in Shibuya, Suzanne as a Kumamoto announcer, and Hinatazaka46 member Rina Watanabe as a woman in Shibuya. Watanabe's role marks her first voice acting work. Jesse of the idol group SixTONES voices brothers Aruru and Deruru from planet Keron. Singer ano and comedian Soshina, who perform the opening theme song "Mata Kaettekita KERO! to MARCH," also appear as guest cast: ano plays a researcher robot, and Soshina plays a man in Shibuya. Yūichi Fukuda is supervising director and scriptwriter, with Fumitoshi Oizaki directing at Bandai Namco Pictures. A new Sgt. Frog television anime with a brand-new cast will debut in fall 2026.

Takopi's Original Sin Anime Gets Compilation Film With New Scenes

The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom Gets TV Anime

Kadokawa announced on Friday that Tōru Himuka's manga The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom is being adapted into a television anime. Koichiro Kuroda, an episode director on Detective Conan and Yowamushi Pedal New Generation, is directing the series at Studio Elle. Risa Mizuno, writing under the pen name Aki Mizuki, is handling series scripts. Akira Ono is designing the characters, Hozumi Gōda is directing sound, and Shiho Terada is composing the music with Highway Star producing. The main cast includes Rina Hidaka as Koyō, Takeo Ōtsuka as Keiun, Taito Ban as Shingdam, and Shōya Chiba as Shiei. A teaser trailer has been released, but no premiere date has been set. The manga began serialization in Kadokawa's Asuka magazine in 2018 and has 15 volumes as of May 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the English edition, which describes the story as a Chinese-style imperial medical fantasy about a young doctor and a crown prince confronting conspiracy and tradition.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Final Cour Trailer Released, Theater Screenings Set

The main promotional video for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity, the fourth and final cour of the anime adaptation, has been released. The trailer opens with an intense battle between Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach, and features combat sequences involving Kisuke Urahara, Yoruichi Shihouin, the Gotei 13, and Uryu Ishida. The final cour is scheduled to begin airing on Japanese television in July 2026. Ahead of the broadcast, episodes 1 through 3 will be screened in theaters for one day only on June 21. Screenings will take place at six venues across Japan, including Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. A premium stage greeting event at United Cinema Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo will feature voice actors Masakazu Morita, Noriaki Sugiyama, Shinichiro Miki, Yuichiro Umehara, and Shunsuke Takeuchi. Attendees at the member-exclusive screening will receive a limited sticker drawn by original creator Tite Kubo. The film will also debut in U.S. theaters from June 25 to June 29. Kubo has confirmed that this final part will include additional original material expanding on the manga's ending.

Yuu Yoshinaga to Launch New Manga Saredo, Futari wa Kusare En

Manga creator Yuu Yoshinaga will debut a new series titled Saredo, Futari wa Kusare En (Even So, We Have an Undesirable, Yet Inseparable Love) in the next issue of Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine on June 12. The announcement came from the magazine's June issue, which was released on Wednesday. The story centers on childhood friends Muku Mochigi and Kyo Yakumo, who are constantly at odds with each other but remain stuck together. As they enter high school, their relationship begins to shift in unexpected ways. Yoshinaga is best known for the series Diary of a Female Lead: Shujinkou Nikki, which launched in Betsucomi in August 2021. The main story of that manga concluded in May 2025, and Shogakukan released the 12th and final compiled volume on January 26. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the series in English and shipped the fifth volume on January 13. The series also returned for a short special episode serialization in the August 2025 issue of Betsucomi. The new series marks Yoshinaga's next project following the conclusion of her previous work.

I Made Friends With the Second Prettiest Girl Anime Adds Three Cast Members
