PLAYISM is showing Idol Manager: Virtual Venture, the latest Idol Manager entry from Russian developer Glitch Pitch, at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The 2021 game covered traditional idol groups; this one moves the setting to virtual streamers. A demo build covers the full flow from an empty agency to hiring staff, holding auditions, and debuting a V-streamer, with male as well as female streamers available to scout.

CCMC released Ollie Ninja Slash on Steam on September 18 as a new holo Indie title. The high-difficulty platform action game was developed by 7 Moon Studio and stars hololive holoro VTuber Kureiji Ollie as Ninja Ollie, who chases a scroll that someone has taken. Players move left and right, jump, and slash, and can also cross gaps by cutting crystals that float in midair. Enemies and spikes fill the stages, and a single misjudgment ends the run immediately. The game includes more than 30 stages and is built around repeated trial and error to learn routes and input timing. It sells for 250 yen including tax. The release is part of the holo Indie line of games tied to hololive talent.

The National Gallery, London and hololive ReGLOSS VTuber Raden Juufuutei will hold a pop-up store at Yurakucho Marui from October 3 to October 12, 2026, IP mixer announced. The store opens on the eighth floor Event Space SPACE5 from 11:00 to 19:00, with free admission. It sells the full lineup of collaboration goods supervised by Raden Juufuutei and based on works by J.M.W. Turner, Vincent van Gogh, and Claude Monet from the museum's collection. Products include fragrance mist sets, scarves, a bone china cup and saucer set, a brass rollerball pen, tote bags, canvas art, acrylic stands, and random clear cards, with some cards carrying foil-stamped signed messages. Buyers receive ticket-style cards at one per 3,500 yen and an original shopper at one per 11,000 yen. Life-size panels using the collaboration illustration go up inside the store. IP mixer handled product design and store operation.

Nijisanji's Sara Hoshikawa will sing 'Hatsukoi Reply' for the TV anime 'Shiokoi: Shio Kotai no Sato-san ga Ore ni dake Amai.' Credited to HoneyWorks feat. Hoshikawa Sara, the song is written, composed and arranged by HoneyWorks with MARUMOCHI, and is Hoshikawa's first anime tie-in. It arrives digitally on September 29. The anime's second key visual and main PV also appeared. Oishi Masayoshi handles the opening theme, 'Sugar Salt,' out October 6, the day the anime starts airing.

Cover announced the members of Asobi★Mawari-tai!, a new Hololive VTuber unit of four: Hyakuto Kyoko, Achichi Mela, Suzuna Tsuzuri, and Sorashina Sopia. Their YouTube channels and X accounts opened on September 18. To mark 1.5 years since the Chiikawa Pocket app launched, ABEMA will open a Chiikawa Official Free Channel from September 19 to 29 and air anime Chiikawa episodes 1 through 362 in a free nonstop marathon. Cover announced four new hololive VTuber talents who will debut as the unit Asobi*Mawari-tai. The members are Kyoko Hyakuto, a passionate hero police officer; Mera Achichi, a firefighter salamander; Tsuzuri Suzuna, a goat mail carrier; and Sopia Sorashina, a self-proclaimed genius astronaut. The unit's setting is a former coin laundry hideout called Aso*Biba, and its motto is "Wash the world in a whirlpool of play." The illustrators are Shogo Matsuo, Aki Minamino, necomi, and Kazunoko Shio, respectively. The existence of the unit was announced September 7 on the hololive Next program, and the members, profiles, and first stream schedule were newly revealed on September 18. Mera Achichi streams September 24 at 19:00 and Sopia Sorashina at 20:00. On September 25, Tsuzuri Suzuna streams at 19:00 and Kyoko Hyakuto at 20:00, with a first collab stream at 21:00. Cover CEO Motoaki Tanigo said on September 17 that future newcomers will debut as units rather than as generation numbers.

Mikai Co., Ltd., the company behind VTuber agency Re:AcT, released its 3D motion capture studio LUMISTA on September 18, 2026. The studio is open to external VTubers, Vsingers, companies, and individuals, offering the motion capture environment and production know-how that mikai built while producing 3D content for its own talent. Clients can use LUMISTA for motion capture sessions, recording and streaming of 3D live performances, MV and video production, and short videos, depending on the purpose. The company says it will take consultations ranging from short capture sessions to large-scale projects such as live production, drawing on its experience running an agency. The name LUMISTA combines Luminous and Stage or Studio, a reference to optical motion capture, which reads movement through light captured by cameras, and to the light used in live performances.
