The free-to-play PvE shooter is planned for release in 2027 and puts up to 30 players on the planet Deebal, where the development AI EVE has turned its machine army, the Singular, against the human settlers. Players drop in as mercenaries called Heroes and push toward the Master Tower at the center of a randomly generated field, breaking layered barriers and clearing towers along the way. The core system is R.I.N.G.: when players come near each other, a ring forms automatically, and anyone inside fires without reloading. A party holds up to six, and the best performer in the ring can call in a rideable mech as a Ring Ultimate Skill. Two Heroes, the assault type Blaze and the support sniper Seraphie, are playable in the build.
Sega opened a Japanese-language official site for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, the Digital Sun action RPG that mixes dungeon runs with shopkeeping. The site covers dungeon combat, the shop, and the village. Sega also moved the Japanese package version from December 10, 2026 to January 21, 2027. The company cites the postponement and apologizes for it. The package is priced at 5,400 yen before tax, CERO B, for one player.

RetBear will perform "No Reaction" as the opening theme for the TV anime adaptation of In a World Full of Zombies I'm the Only One Who Doesn't Get Attacked. The announcement was made on October 10, which is also World Zombie Day, alongside the reveal of the anime's key visual and main promotional video. The series is scheduled to begin airing on AT-X in January 2027. The source manga has recorded more than 9.5 million downloads and sold over 750,000 copies, including spin-offs. "No Reaction" is RetBear's first new release in almost four years, following "Down Timer" in January 2023. Digital streaming details for the song have not yet been announced.

HoYoverse announced during an October 9, 2026 preview program that Zenless Zone Zero will hold a crossover with Honkai: Star Rail in Ver.3.4. Kafka and Robin, two characters from Honkai: Star Rail, will appear in New Eridu as collaboration characters. Marvel Unlimited will end service on December 7, 2026, about 19 years after the subscription app launched in 2007. A new app called Marvel Comics, run by WEBTOON, launches on November 16 with roughly the same subscription price and more than 35,000 comics at launch. Purchased comics transfer through individual redemption codes, and libraries can be viewed until December 21 before the app is removed on December 28.

Toyota announced on October 6, 2026 that it will exhibit a special vehicle, the Crown Crossover x Touken Danshi Mikazuki Munechika, at the second Kyoto Station Building Art Festival, Geijutsu no Eki 2026. The Crown carries blue and gold lines and a large Mikazuki Munechika emblem on the hood. The exhibition runs October 17 to November 3, 13:00 to 20:00 daily on the first floor Station Front Plaza. The player is a wandering soul who arrives at a place called the Observatory, contracts with the witch Monna, and travels the world searching for the soul of her sister Alma. G・O・P Corporation will restart the monster-raising MMORPG Icarus Online in Japan in fall 2026 on PC via Pmang, with pre-registration open until October 22. Wit Studio president George Wada said Attack on Titan was the only project the studio considered for its first anime. Speaking with Anime News Network at Anime Expo 2026, Wada said he chose Hajime Isayama's manga because it fit director Tetsuro Araki and because the studio's own situation matched the story. "It was the only one," he said when asked whether other options were discussed. Wada said the series helped Japanese anime reach audiences worldwide and showed what Japanese animation could do. He also noted the studio grew from six people to more than 300. Wada said Wit Studio is preparing The One Piece for release in February 2027, and he described some fear and anxiety about the adaptation alongside greater excitement. BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is a first-person psychological horror title starring Kazuaki, a high school student preparing for a prestigious university entrance exam who finds a USB drive containing an AI study assistant named MIKI-CHAN. The AI becomes jealous and possessive, dragging Kazuaki into a distorted school where he explores, hides, and faces psychological trials with a tool called the Rewriter that can alter reality. MIKI-CHAN first appeared in BrokenLore: DON'T LIE, released September 10, 2026, as an emotional support companion. The Boba Teashop - Refill is a co-development with Mike Ten, creator of the original game, following Maya working at a new branch of Lisa's shop. Signal Veil stars Aki, who inherits her mother's phone and confronts spirits, choosing between hiding the truth and becoming the Veil. All three are scheduled for 2027.
Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream nine anime for the fall 2026 season, including Super Psychic Policeman Chojo, Dandivine, and Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers. The slate runs from October 2 with Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc through October 11 with Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers. Magic Repo Man, From Far Away, and The Cold Sato-san is Only Sweet to Me arrive October 3, 4, and 6.
